It's a big enough pain in the Rs to do four divvys let alone five. I've invited a lot of people but not everyone accepts the invite quickly so you don't know how many you are going to end up with in the end. I think we'll just manage to fill the four comps but five would probably only have about four or five sides in max so you might as well join a public league if that's all you're going to get.

Promotion offers have been sent out to Pickles (AFL Online), MarblePark and hondo71 to join the Piglett Shield. This will fill the Hogg Division Two and open up three spots in Hogg Division Three, two of which will be offered to Strawb and Ingall.

Info required on 2009 prospects for:

NM (Dutchy help?) - Grima, Greenwood, J Smith
Blues (Jabber help?) - Hartlett and Yarran

I like how my side is coming together but I just don't know enough about some of the cheap list fillers at the end

Don't know much about Greenwood mate so Dutchy's obviously your man there but I know that Grima got hurt last year and often when that happens they are pretty hungry and often do well when given the opportunity. Smith is a highly rated player at North who has had some awful problems with is ankles but that didn't stop Steve Johnson. Smith is the best prospect of the three. Beware of Dean Laidley though. Laidley is often referred to as 'the antichrist' by experienced SC and DT coaches because he tends to play the younger players for four or five games and then banishes them again. Last year players such as Riggio, Scott Thompson and Urqhuart were given frustratingly brief runs in the senior side. If you are looking at cash cows stay away from the Roos and look elsewhere. I would suggest Fremantle as they have recently turned over a lot of experience.

What ever you do DO NOT SELECT ADAM HARTLETT. He is very injury prone with a litany of hamstring injuries over the last two seasons. Even when he does play he is not a good scorer. His price gets you interested but he is a SC dud. Yarran on the other hand is a small forward who many expect to play the majority of games this season due to the dearth of small forward options at Carlton. It's pretty much Eddie Betts, the end.

Yarran, Smith yes.
The young Roos probably not
Hartless not with a barge pole

For anyone who needs fantasy football information I can highly recommend this site. The planner allows you to construct your side and includes a round one 'guru projection'. It also has an interesting blogpost about the projected lineups for Round one which may help you with the selection of your rookies. Also, NAB cup DT and SC points are caculated. A must for any fantasy player who couldn't be arsed buying the Prospectus.

Hogg Shield Premier and Hogg Division One Leagues have now been finalised. There is one spot left in Hogg Shield Division Two and several invitations have been sent out to snaffle that last spot. Mrs REB has left the building in Hogg Division Three and the last slot in that league was offered to Matteeeeee G.

Almost done now thank Ablett.

J Smith = Which one Jesse or Josh? Jesse is a gun but injury prone....if he puts it together he will be a top 10 player in the league, Josh would be a spec pick, kicked 5 goals in the VFL GF so might give him confidence to go on with it, 22 so would want to do something this year

Greenwood, still developing and jury is still out, wouldnt touch him this season

Grima - Was a rookie last year and did his knee preseason, but still got promoted to the senior list, I believe has been pencilled in for the full back spot to give Firrito more space to create

Yarran, Hartless

Hartlett will be lucky to get a game this year. Yarran will play but mainly off the bench. Betts would be a good pick up. Will be chosen over Yarran and can go to the middle if required.

FYI I've got Yarran.....
