Simon Feast

Postby robranosgod » Mon Feb 02, 2009 12:39 pm

I saw Sturt training down at Somerton beach early on Saturday morning. I hardly recognized any players, but I did see Jade Sheedy, Brant chambers, Jeremy Johncock and surprisingly Simon Feast. I thought that he had retired. Why would he be going through a gruelling training session given the weekend's heat unless he was considering playing again?

Isn't he the ruck coach ? Though he was playing in the GSFL ? If so he may be doing the training for that...

maybe he has got to pull the boots on again as the Blues seem to be light on in the tall timber department. losses of DeLuca & Copping. Jake Bowen was back after a year away is he still there???

I am sure Feasty will still want to keep himself as fit as possible so he can perform at this best for Langhorne Creek. Also it would be very encouraging to the younger players to see him involved. And hey there isn't any reason why he could not pull the boots on for a couple of games this year if needed.

Feasty is there as the ruck/forward coach. I have heard that he will play some games of football elsewhere on the Saturdays when he is required for Sturt coaching.
