Not sure what u guys r talking about, players not getting paid has never been an issue since ive been there. I think its a good idea for coxy to return to districts, his familiar with the club, players and would feel comfortable and hopefully have an enjoyable year. Good luck to him.
And this one

You'll get over it in time, he'll move on to another, and another till he runs out of everything.
Maybe rowing is the sport for him, they say that's ideal for semi-individuals. He can be the stroke for the Cox-less fours

The only way a club can refuse a clearance is due to the player being "unfinacial." Usually the 'new' club rings the 'old' club, finds out what subs are worth, then pays the $$$. If he is contracted for 2009 its a slightly different story. Used to be able refuse on grounds of a player being a required player but this clause is now defunct.

Coxy has been training, so i guess he will want a clearance. Something Districts will have to look at pretty soon i guess.
As for Carl, i believe he is coming out Wednesday night. Not sure who he is.

Gee what a surprise with Marc Cox wanting a clearance. Heard he is going for the Guiness Book of Records for the most clearances,
most clubs played for and the most clubs signed for in a career. Apparently only a couple of signings away from the world record. He
has just had two clearances refused from Encounter Bay to two other country clubs, Kersbrook being one. If it was not so sad it would be funny

Yep got the word at work tonight. Kersbrook and Para Hills he has applied to be cleared to from Encounter Bay. Both refused.
He has trained with Port District, Seaton, Kersbrook, Encounter Bay and Para Hills and that was only to the end of January.

This really is sad now. Firstly i thought it funny but this bloke must have some problems between those things painted onto the side of his head

Seeing Simon Maddern has stepped down as captain, my mail is either Darren Perry, Matty Gates or Ryan Sampson assuming the captaincy role in 2009.

Now that guys like Maddern and Jamieson etc have all retired all Districts have is football nomads who are likely to be up to the next club for an extra $2 so perhaps Perry is the guy. Not to much loyalty amongst the rest of the lot. Except Marc Cox of course

Big chance that the Port Magpies will want a say into who is Captain of the club, seeing that they run the club and dictate what goes on and who is recruited

Sounds like you're not much of a Districts fan "Nobody"?
Why are you on this thread then?

Correct in the first statement but incorrect with the second. Not trying for a bite but just stating a fact about how the District Swampys are run as a club with you being the Port Magpies No2's team. Lost your identity years ago so a bite was not needed.
