I heard lengthy chats about Thompson wanting to play at Goolwa he just needs to make sure he can cover the travel involved for him.

Most talked about player in country footy. And rightfully so, what he offers to a club as a 0 point player is astonishing.

Physicality, an imposing force in the midfield, gets the hard-ball, quick and clean disposal, WAFL experience, versatility, footy smarts, and a good club-man.

I thought you were referring to Shane fox WOW? that's my description for Shane Fox, not Thompson.

Thompson has been training really solidly with us though, **** he is fit, just needs to put on a bit of bulk, but his skills are top notch. a lot of the boys were surprised, he will be a very handy addition.

thanks boys, thats enough now. As the GSFL players association president i am introducing new forum rules. Only players that have played more than 5 games in 3 years can be discussed on the forum. That means Thompson and Fox are off limits.

I am suprised there is not more talk about recruits. Surely 2,3 or 4 weeks in to training there are some new faces out at clubs. Who will play their cards? Whos new? Whos gone? And are then any big names signed?
