Cats Crash

Postby Dogwatcher » Wed Aug 09, 2006 3:48 pm

email doing the rounds suggests there's trouble at the Cattery.
there's a baby involved and some high profile cats, and Geelongs drop in form apparently correlates to when the playing group became aware of it.

truth? who knows?

Billy was questioned on this subject on the footy show the other week and he flatly denied that there was any trouble at the club

And everyone knows how stupid Billy is. Doesn't know what's going on in footy at all.

What bull5hit. Yes folks roll up roll up to the annual Geelong rumour. Step this way oh lovers of gossip, gullibility essential but the truth is optional.

Put it this way. You would no doubt be aware of the 'fishbowl' effect of too much coverage on one or two teams in a two team town (mostly the Crows of course). All sorts of carp does the rounds and inevitably this starts from that font of authority the email. Imagine the fishbowl effect in Geelong..their paper, also called the Advertiser..is a newspaper in name only..it is more like a club newsletter. K-Rock is the Geelong radio station..if Steven King farts during the football season by the time some numbnuts in Melbourne hears the chinese whisper and reports it to SEN, it is turned into Steven King's wife has farted because Bob Davis' second cousin has had a threesome with Sam Newman's aunt.

Take this one with a fairly large grain of NaCl. Or do what Melbourne does...accept it as gospel. Pfft.

Billy only plays the fool and is paid well for doing so. Some people do it for free and don't get paid for it. No offence Eags, but I'd back Billy Brownless' (no matter how many hot dogs he can eat) knowledge of what is going on down at Geelong rather than yourself or some knob jockey who has sent an anonymous email to SEN.

REB,are you insinuating that not all the information contained in email is true? My God,I must try and track down the money I sent to that Ugandan lad that was asking for $150 from people so he could make his way to Australia and fulfill his dream of training with Anthony Mundine before he suffers the terrible and crippling side effects of gout..

I'm guessing a Bays fan. They'd be happy to go back 5 years in time and start over.

yeah I'm willing to go back 5 years to 2007, I reckon REB wouldn't mind either...

(I'm including this season in my calculations as it is almost over footy wise ;) )
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
