On the track he has looked extremely handy, along the lines of a playmaking, impact player. Skills are in top order after a while away from the game. Would make A grade alone on his skills.

I'll reserve my judgement then until ive seen it. Havent seen Brad play footy for a long time. The guy did his ligaments tripping over on the road so keeping him on the park will be difficult.

Brad Thompson would not play A grade. Getting a bit old.

TW im a bit perplexed as to why you havent made a decision. Surely you wouldnt leave Goolwa, Simon Dennis back and Zac Ewer coming down must be exciting. Another year in kids like Griffen, Cuthbert and your under 17s it would be a shame to leave as the club seems to be taking a turn for the good!

Thompson is only 25 and from what i seen of him yesterday the skills are still up to standard so I would expect some good footy from him in 09.
Not certin to leave Goolwa BJ things are looking alot better around the place this year, I am just waiting to see what a few mates do and still waiting for one to come back from O/S before I will decide. With Sam Jones back to Goolwa I am not sure what I will do.

After making his sailing debut Friday night and having the boat he was aboard sitting second and looking and possibly getting into first for it's division they had a minor incident and caused a early end to the race for both them and our boat. I will let LF explain what happened but next time I think you should skipper the boat LF!!!

Fu*#ckn sailing makes me look forward to pre season training. I dont know how many times I could have said "we are going to hit this boat". No one listens to the rookie, then we are stranded in the middle of the river with 2 broken masts and big Alex Jones swimming to shore to save his own life.

It was a very technical position we faced LF lets just hope insurance comes through as damage is now estimated at $10,000+ and your boat has alot of racing in the coming weeks. Have you been asked to sail in the main events?

Anythings possible i guess. I believe he & a mate are 0 point players and are looking 4 a team. Which is always good 4 us when you've used all your allocated points.

Scott Hunt. but yeah, everything else seems pretty well spot on though. playin out at south 18's this year, so Onkas offering money is kinda stupid, as he would only play when south have the Bye, 2 or 3 times a year.

also in the state squad of 40-odd, and was a standout big man at their recent screening tests. his agility for his size is what will make him appealing to AFL clubs. hopefully he can grow another inch or 2, and really push to make the big show.

He's always lived up the road from me but i had no idea he played footy. I should have tried to get him down to Demonland! Best of luck to him. Another young gun in the state squad is Sean Beath. The blokes is a genuine Johnny Platten, which is unfortunate for him as that type of player is slowly dying out in the AFL. Should have a crack at league footy though in the next few years!

What about the Bays INs and OUTs this year, not much news about them on here compared to previous years.

There seems a bit of doubt on Heuskes and Modra. Any confirmed recruits?
