I thought it was ironic that in Round 2 the Cats belted the Roos and were a flag favourite and Kent Kingsley kicked 10 goals, how things change.

Why?
I'm old enough to remember Richmond stomping on everybody, on and off the ground
during the early/mid '70s.
Tiger fans can get their jollies watching the DVDs of the '67,'69,'73,'74 & 1980 Grand Finals.
Geelong has.....?!?!!?
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

GOLD! Especially this:

"At one point, the absence of Geelong players on the television screen suggested they were flooding (an interesting strategy, given they were six goals behind). Corey Jones had the ball at half-back. No opponent came at him. So he stopped. He bounced the ball. He didn't move. Still no one came at him. He bounced it again and it wobbled away. He dragged it back. Still no one came at him. He stood still. Then he touched the ball on the turf. Still no one came at him. He even got bored and kicked the ball forward.

I reckon he stood still for seven seconds. Outrageous. Life is too precious to watch Corey Jones hold a football for seven seconds.

You don't truly love life until you are genuinely aware of death. And I accept that that was death on Sunday afternoon in Canberra.

Death, Geelong. Not heroic. Not even honourable. Just sad."
