Got that mail aswell BJ, heard it was the FLYS he was out training with last week... and if what you say is true about him playing 1 more year, it seems fitting that he might go BACK HOME to play his last year of footy....

Big pick up if this eventuates!

Moore and Sherwood to Langhorne Creek. Sherwood ass. coach? Also heard Simon Feast when not on coaching duty with Sturt? Makes points interesting! Well done to them to land theses guys.

Goolwa will be disappointed if Creeks have landed Feast. Simon Dennis would have some good links to sturt after playing there for several years.

I think its best to 'wait and see' with many of these rumours. There have been not too many signatures yet, mainly talk so it will be interesting to see the wash up. SANFL site suggests PAOC are in the mix with Feast as well, plus you could add in Pultney who also have Sturt links

Is Matt Wadewitz playing again in '09. Have heard he may hang up the boots and concentrate on family life. He is a gun and Willunga would hope he plays on but i am sure the 9 other clubs would be happy to see him retire.

Wadewitz is a gun and could play anywhere for the Demons. Rumours of retirement just teases the other 9 clubs.
Big names mentioned, but you are right LF it is early days and we have all heard names bandied about before.
Wait til the ink is dry.
Creek didn't recruit in 2008, so points wouldn't be an issue, but the loss of Dellatorre, Warren and James will hurt if true.
Recruiting to replace what they have lost!

Mate, it seems as though it is true. Big Matty J was out at training last Thursday and said that he wasn't going to play at all but always said he would play his final year at Reynella. So my guess is he is either going to retire altogether or play one more year at Reynella. So luckily for you and your thighs, you won't have to face him again! He was a mongrel to ruck against!

Mutley nothing is confirmed with Wada at this stage. Hes enjoying some time off and will assess it when pre season comes around. Is a super fit bloke so theres no worries in regards to his fitness.

You are right with us wanting him to play on, he has the best skills at the club and is a vital cog to our side.

10 points I reckon. Hargreaves 4, Rigney and Ewer 3 each.
The forward line at Saints would be exciting and with those players WILL make the finals.
What a great comp the GSFL will be in 2009.
Cuzzy, what was the meet the coach day like on Sunday and how are the recruits looking at the Bay?

Good size, played plenty of years at South Adelaide and is a good player. Can take a catch and would be very handy at local level as he played some league footy last year.

Whys that Shoe Boy? Looking at the Shoes is he?

Mex, you're on fire breaking the big stories. If that is true about Hargraves it would certainly be nice. A forward line consisting of Rigney, Dennis, Hargraves with Evans and Cuthbert would be handy. We have 14 points, minus Wilson who is now 2, so thats 12 to play with. The 3 players mentioned would attract 10, leaving 2 points to spare.
