who else have flinders park picked up??
and im not a treg fan but callin him soft is a bit harsh, he was an extremely smart footballer, hence why he dominated the wings for his career!!

have picked up a few fringe A1 players from Henley + a few others. Have kept the majority of last years team, most are pretty young so should have a pretty solid side. Good chance of finals.

Who are they reds?

Brett Hains is one mate, the Other guy u might know better than i do, Played a bit of footy at Westies and Henley, Flinders Park junior!

Has the one who played at westies and henley committed to FP for 2009? I thought he was till undecided and was waiting on a few others maybe coming with him.

Nah i don't know for sure as to what he is going to do but i would be surprised if he plays for Henley this year.

yeah that is who we are talking about fringe is harsh i agree first year of a1's and he finished top 10 in the b&f and played every game that is a good start in a1's i would think.

I've asked a few around the traps of numbers etc..but am told a different story everyone i speak to, normally thats a sign of "struggling".
I may have to surprise them one night & get an honest view myself.
Wonders apparently wil be heading country for some much needed $$$, he's been away overseas on a honeymoon of some kind with his better half for the last 7 mths!

Ben Stokes training at Seaton, if he can drop about 12kg he will be very handy forward for them. He is very capable, but very lazy.
Played last season with Marion and with Encounter Bay the year before that.

They are trying to get some forwards - Rosser is ringing past contacts, but I haven't heard if they have been successful as yet

Stokes is a good player, does need to drop some weight tho. He had the highest leap at the 2002 AFL draft camp if my memory serves me correct. If he is on he's pretty hard to stop...

i hear the same things No Mercy, so dont know who to believe. I did hear very poor numbers at training, but maybe ok now that theyve gone back to 1 day a week. They should be ok in div 2 anyway, with their main contenders Broadies, PHOS and maybe UNI's??

Waz talking to some Broaddy people on the weekend and they reckon the Flag is all wrapped up and back in Tigerland. Told em to watch out as Uni had the same thoughts this year. But No. The Flag is yellow and black for sure so they think. Big worry when they think that in December just like Uni did. Might get a big bad shock if keep thinking like that

dont think that any of the coaching staff or footy related officials think they are over the line by a long way, however they are assembling a very good squad.

Yeah sorry boys, your probably right. Still, either way would be very very good pick up for Flinders! got a couple of old mates around the place so hopefully he comes on board!
