Good, I would have had him easily in our top 5 if not top 3.

Stupid part about it was the PA played 80s music all day, I think they've been going to the Paul Blandis school of DJing!

PS Not that there's anything wrong with that, I love 80s music but on "Back to the 70s weekend"??

Mate, you woudn't believe the way some of my keys are playing up lately, I also have a problem with apostprohes, half of the non alphabetical keys on my keyboard at the moment are turned into "hotkeys" and open up things I don't want them to open them up and I dont know why so don't expect much in the way of grammar from me at the minute.

Does it need to be cleaned? I'm not too sure what is/are the best thing(s) for keyboard cleaning, I just turn mine upside down and shake it. Though that may not be the best long term thing for the keyboard, but I have had it for two and a half years and it works fine.

Dunno, its cordless, perhaps the neighbours remote control is running havoc with it? I thinke we're on the wrong forum though.
How were my shots today anyway?

he he shucks, thanks, always easy at a North game as there's so many characters to take pics of.

Also, while I think of it, as can be seen by my shots I was near the North cheersquad today, I thought I'd spend a quarter near them to see what the Glenelg and South fans were complaining about.
They were harmless puppies with minimal bad language compared to 3 or 4 other cheersquads.
Must have just been a case of sour grapes but I thought I'd prove it to myself by witnessing them first hand before mentioning it.

It'll be interesting to see pics from other grounds to see if other fans showed a bit of flair and character for the 70s weekend.

OMG! I have made it into SA Footy folklore!

I'm now famous! 8)

Seriously, Norwood more than deserved the win on Saturday. North were decidedly lax all day, were 2nd to the ball throughout (beside from maybe the 2nd half of the last quarter) & insisted on playing a handball-happy game out of defence, which more often than not led to turnovers. Norwood adopted a more simple game plan of simply putting boot to ball which given the inclement conditions was by far the better way of going about things. For most of the match they had loose men everywhere.

It was still great to see a game of local SANFL footy in the company of the North Grogs. You could stand without anyone tell you off. You could drink bourbon out of a can. You could say "**** off you cnut umpire!" & not have security want to chuck you out! Yes, the pace was definitely a step slower than AFL level, but even on a wet day there was not the level of ball-ups & players diving on the ball in a pack situation. Not once did I see Norwood try and chip the ball around to defend their lead. Nor did I see North do the same to stop Norwood's momentum when they were controlling the game in the 2nd & 3rd quarters. you can say that in modern-day AFL parlance the footy I was watching was a tad nieve. I won't. I'll just call it good honest attractive attacking footy. Footy that has not changed horribly much over the years. Footy that is still more or less the game you watched when you were little tackers growing up. For that alone it must be protected & preserved! 8)

I hope the Swans are over there again in a final again. Would love to get to see North Adelaide going around once again! 8)

cheers from sunny Sydney!
