Bachmann to Mclarens? Loves staying on at E Bay or moving? Compass chasing Chad Dawe?

Goolwa? Not naming names but surely Dennis is recruiting some players. L Creek and Strath very quiet!

What's happening at Yank?

Goolwa nothing at this stage, wouldnt think its a budget issue but the points are tight. I think we will add 3-4 players and hopefully get some ex players back.

Apparently from around the rumour mill all the right phone calls were made, all the right people who were involved were spoken to but not alot has come about from it as yet..
I think hes just excited to meet everyone down at Willunga anyway now!

Anymore new signing to be announced yet?
Surely theres other people and other news to be lying around the traps?!

Kicking a bag of goals does in Div 2 Hills does not rate for mine..!! As a former Morphett Vale junior he seems to be the black sheep amongst us, that being, playing juniors and not coming back to play any form of senior footy with us... Reckon he would be mid 20's and as far as i know he can add Morphett Vale, Happy Valley, Kangarilla and now possibly Willunga to his growing list of "clubs played for"... That for mine is far too many... I have no time for club sluts..!!!

Well the fact hes coming to Willunga for nothing but petrol money would say to me hes not slutting himself around. Not sure of his reasoning for not returning to Morphett Vale Mex but if club sluts are what you have no time for then there are a few Morphies lads i reckon you could write off your time for aswell. The money chasers who are getting paid quite nicely about the place that left your club. All good blokes and mates of mine, and good players but certainly not the loyalty to MV you're looking for!

I did hear that he signed. $200 sign on, $100 a game

give the guy a break... he hasnt even signed on yet and people are writing him off. he's not going there for cash or to take hamsy's spot, just wants to improve his footy. the guy knows hams so im sure they'll work well together and people will find him if he makes a lead. all this dirt about only kicking to hams is ridiculous. he's obviously what the devils want and will work his ass off over the summer to prove to people he has what it takes.

hows those mudlarks going? heard princi signed a couple of ex south u/19 boys last week and might be making a move on cain gillard from pt noarlunga. anyone confirm?

Guys 1250 has a point, to be honest with ya as he said i havent moved there to take ANYONES spot i just want to play at a higher level and be at a very professional club. Its funny how people think they know ya just from reading what you've done in the past, so just to be clear Hammsy is the no.1 forward and yes he proberly always will be. Im just keen to do the hard yards to hopefully be a part of a great year!
I dont think its a bad thing if someone wants to improve where theyre at with thier footy and maybe take that extra step, why not do it at a club so proud like Willunga?

A premiership, that would be another reason to go to Willunga.

Heard on the rumour mill that Yank are busy recruiting but could not be told any names. I'm pretty sure they have retained the services of most of their plasyers from last season, except koster, so i reckon they will be around the mark next year. I also heard they are in the process of changing their guernseys to the traditional tigers (Richmond, Glenelg) style.

KK i spoke to a Yank player and he said the same things. Pratt has signed on aswell but Groom has taken the same job he had last year so will be available sparingly if at all. However the contacts Pratt has along with Steve Lewis should see Yank push for finals i think. Good to hear for Steve and the rest of the crew down at Tigerland!!

Great news about the guernsey also, love the black guernsey with the gold sash!!

Do all the players at Willunga get $100 per week? They are the players who have built the club up over the past 5 years!

Round 1 at Goolwa Oval should see 'the old black and white jail bars' vs the 'traditional tigers strip'

You may have missed my point BJ... The main point in my posting was that 4 clubs in a short career fits the bill as a club slut for mine... I don't care what reason they change around for... Yes Morphies have a few ex pats out there and yes some are playing for $$$'s, which depending on personal circumstances and talent i can understand the reasoning, however i think you'll find it very hard to find too many of our guys that have played at 3 clubs or more..!!

Isn't a premiership the reason Bayli$$ went to Jervois?

Don't think a premiership means as much if you waltz into a club and win it first year. Don't get me wrong a flags a flag but they mean so much more when you earn it with the guys that have been there from the start.

Yeah i reckon i did a bit. Sorry about that! I dont begrudge any of those guys the money. If clubs are willing to pay for their services then all the power to the player. Thats each clubs own agenda, some get it right and lots get it wrong.

After chatting with him last night i reckon he will be a good fit at Willunga, good bloke, hes keen to get back into his footy and wants to learn which he will do with Barry at the helm along with Hamsy and co around the place!

Could not agree more ZC, i've only ever won one flag in my career, and it was with most of my good mates. Best time ever!
I don't know how these guys do it, surely it would not feel the same.

You must have a bit of talent from what other people have sasid of you, so i'm sure you will be a nice replacement for the retiring Ryan, and if you are not playing A's, can't see the b's losing much from last year. So your chances of playing in the last game of the year are pretty high!

Every club needs to recruit in the Gsfl. If you can afford to spend the cash spend it, dont spend more than you can afford. All premierships are special. Saying a recruit that turns up in his first year and wins one isnt going to be as special to him and his team mates because hes not playing with mates is crap. Isnt that how you make new friends.

Have heard that Pollard is staying at Morphies to get his life membership
