rumour of two ex-port magpie players on the brink of signing with goolwa saints, offer was even more attractive once word was out of the black and white bars being back in force. will this sway yeomans and hirst decisions. wouldnt be the first time these boys have backed out on contracts.

He was getting jabbed just to get thru last year with his knee which he'd had a few op's on but i think he did the other knee i believe but pretty bad. He missed i think like 3 months of work.would love to see him with the boots on again as he is an absolute gun victor will miss him

Asert you are being carcastic surely, you have got too be kidding yourself if you think Saunders is a gun.Asert you are giving youre identity away if youre serious about this quote i rekn youre Lee Saunders dad,the bloke who cant coach. There is only one gun at Victor and that is Hodgey,if it wasnt for Hodgey playn down there, Victor would have been as sh#t as the likes of Goolwa,Mclaren etc.

If Saunders helped Hodge out a bit this year Victor would have made the finals. Instead he hid in a pocket or a flank rather than taking on the midfield to get it up forward.
He has struggled ever since his first knee op.

Not fit enough? Did his fitness drop off during the year as I thought he done a league pre season last year. From what I have seen of Jurek (at South) he is like most smaller players he likes to sit on the out side and get the easy kicks and look flash, similar to Mckinlay when he played a few reserve games wont earn his own ball.

Saw him play in the last couple and up to half time was good then did nothing. so yes his fitness did drop off

jurek carved also but was a bit inconsistent. Pretty hard goings i reckon having other full on quality on ballers to work with to get the ball. Guess that statement goes either way but he had a good year all the same
