Yep, I didn't think the Sarge and Chambo combination would work, but to his credit, Sarge kicked 40 odd goals, and Chambo over 100, which went a long way to the sensational year the Double Blues had...

PS - why would you not have Coad at CHF?

I think a few of us supporters have asked that same question over the last couple of years but he has been dogged by injury and inconsistency which probably hasnt helped, plus his flexibility in being able to play at both ends of the ground has meant that he has spent some time down back

hopefully he can stay injury free for a year, if so he should have a blinder, hopefully up forward :D

Certainly a very capable defender...perhaps for his footy to improve, he needs to be put in the one spot and left there.

Not a bad dilemma to have...which end to play Coad at??? Both ends* are VERY strong at Sturt these days...

Was that part of LN's pitch to the group reviewing all coaching applicants and recommending to the Board which coach they would like to appoint?

If so, LN will NOT be coach of Sturt.

WTF? Coad in a forward pocket? Next you'll say it should be Crane in ruck...

From what I saw of him in the final round at Eliz and in the Q final, he looked finished .
At least he was smart enough to acknowledge the fact and made the right decision.
Not to mention he defo looked like his heart wasnt in it, good move.BTW who was the imbicile that encouraged him to Sturt in the first place.......whoever it was their position needs serious looking at,wont get anywhere with that line of thinking.
