Young Hurley who was showing great promise and may have got drafted all for the serious leg injury

What has happened to him in 2008 and what was his progress?????/

he had a consistent year in the 2's, played most games but just could not break into the seniors
obviously has fallen behind a few other players but hopefully he will hang in there and his chance will come again
he is a quality player, just needs to stay focused

With a knee injury in a trial game straight after him not getting drafted when most thought he would I felt his confidence was a little down this year.

In saying that he still would only be 19 and has whole footy career still ahead of him - we will probably see him back in the seniors in 2009 !!!

2009 will be the year he will try to get back into the seniors. I would say that he would be happy that he got through this year unscathed with any more knee injuries.

Tommy lost his confidence after that injury.

He's a gun person and player and will play League in 2009.

Such a shame he was overlooked in the draft...who knows where his career could be right now if he had been...

one game shouldn't get you drafted , although it happened for lindsay smith, had a great game against sturt at unley & got drafted on that 1 game & i'm not sure he ever played an afl game at the finish (wasn't many if he did)
