With the forward line of Tarrant,Rocca,Davis(LMAO @ this bloke,I think the 'G' scares him),Didak (has filled the void left by Greg Williams as the most hated small player in the AFL),and the midfield of Fraser,Buckley (a true champion who should have stuck out the tough years at the Bears and would have 3 flags by now),O'Bree,Licuria and co. yet they continue to under perform.
Wakelin,Clement,Clokes are all bombarded by the quick return of the ball out of the forward line as the above mentioned throw their arms up in the air and drop the scone.

Thank's to Mick and the boys for giving me that warm fuzzy feeling again,must be a dose of the Collywobbles setting in.

in all seriousness, firstly, they do not have a lot of depth in the midfield, so they have less players doing the bulk of the work load compared to the other top clubs, they are starting to tire under the work load, to add to this, their midfield group is an aging group.

I'm not suprised they are starting to run out of gas.....

Actually I had them anywhere between 5 and 12.

I wasn't 100% confident about them because I just wasn't sure about Rocca, Fraser and Buckley coming back from injuries. Basically if those blokes didn't play many games like they did in 2004-05 Collingwood would struggle. get those three on the park consistantly like they did in 2002-03 well they should finish top 6 (as a minimum). The fact that they have 3 of their top five players back particulalry from a structural piont of view to take the pressure of Tarrant and there by stretch defenders to lose to Freo (and we know how highly you rate Freo and Connolly Punky) and be one game above 9th is pretty galling for club with a list like Collingwood.

I always thought if they come back and could play games let alons dominate them they would be up there challenging for the top 4. So right now they are sitting in the upper echelons of where I thought they would end up.

Basically like Port it is always good to take the p!ss out of collingwood because of their mensa like supporters.....

It was only 3 or 4 rounds ago you couldn't get the collingwood players out of the media, saying how they were top 4 and they didn't fear anyone........

I had them for the 8 Punky (actually chucked some loose change on them for the flag) ... Didn't see much of the game so can't comment on their performance ... I seem to recall in the Tony Shaw years they had some issues with winning in June and July, almost seems a case of Deja Vu ...

And if it wasn't for a unique umpiring interpretation on a what is a mark (by Colbert) in the semi final that should have played in Melbourne based on the current formula, Geelong would have had a flag to celebrate in 1997 when they beat St Kilda instead of us.....
