Stunning if true.
Why not Norman? Was seen as the Golden Boy.
What is so good about Godden?
Who is making these decisions at Sturt? No CEO no senior coach.
Norman will not stay at Sturt if not appointed.

Something is not quite right here.

Norman would still have to be favourite but as with any job you'd have to open it up to explore exactly who is out there - something would not be quite right if they failed to do this.

The Blues must look around but surely Norman must be in box seat as he hasn't put a foot wrong and will provide a smooth transition. Must also recruit a few gun in-and-under mongrels to complement the fleet of skill merchants that we seem to always be overflowing with.

Speaking to a Sturt board member late last week, he said that they had received some very high quality applicants from Victoria and wont be rushing in to a decision. He agreed that Luke Norman is right in the mix however (more stable and lower cost) than bringing in a new person from outside the club.

Ex West Adel rover, played a handful of games for the Crows, i think he coached Glenelg's Reserves last year.

You think correct.

Exceptional young coach, who is held in VERY high regard down the Bay.

Hope he stays at the Bay, but certainly worth an enquiry from Sturt...

And Luke Norman is just as young and coached a Premiership last season. Who cares if he is held in high regard at the Bay?

I hope Sturt don't "care" about Gods either as he is a very important member of the coaching panel at the Bay but for his sake I hope Sturt aren't as flippant about his coaching abilities as ET (not that he isnt entitled to them).
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!
