What has gone wrong with Bartemucchi? I thought that he was a very handy player!

He has been in the past, played 138 games. Missed the early part of 2008 and although he was a regular member of the side, really failed to regain the zip he used to have.

But why? What went wrong in such a short space of time?

There was a nice little article in today's paper on Luke McCabe from Centrals...

As expected, he has decided that Sunday's Grand Final will be his last game for the Doggies. Let's hope he can go out with a premiership.

The farmer from Hamley Bridge said after retiring at the end of season 06, the year off helped freshen up the body but after the rigours of another season, an increasing workload on the farm and a young family, the former Hawthorn defender will hang up the boots for good after the decider on the weekend.

Well done to Luke McCabe on a fabulous career both with the Hawks and the Doggies, good luck in retirement.

Simon Feast might have hung the boots up after leading the team off the ground after the prelim final, has anyone heard if he has retired or not??

If true, a sad way for a champion to bow out!

Given simon's outstanding service to my beloved Blues I hope he plays on in 2009, however, he'll soon be 34 :( :(

Probably be Cowan, Griffen (a loss, not retirement), McCabe & Steinberner, that's about it but look out end of 2009!

Griffen - a loss (where do you think he's going ?)

I got conflicting reports today regarding Hargraves at his place of employment's family fun day which he attended. One was he is continuing for 1 more year and the other was that it was the end. However I did keep a steady supply of Bourbon and Coke to him over the bar after a social game of cricket
