West Adelaide B & F

Postby redandblack » Sat Oct 11, 2008 8:19 am

Centre-half-back Ryan Ferguson last night won the Blood's Best and Fairest Award, from Damian Cupido and Nathan Brown.

In presenting the award, Coach Andrew Collins praised Ferguson's season, labelling him the clearly the best CHB in the League.

Glynn Williams, Merv Agars and administrator Sam Suckling were inducted into the Hall of Fame.

West's first two "Legends" were named as Neil Kerley and the legendary H R "Dick" Head. Kerley gave a passionate and well-received speech in reply.

When asked for his comments about the Best and Fairest winner, West Adelaide supporter 'redandblack' said it was well deserved, but a bit of a surprise as he would never have predicted the win.

Well done to Ferguson a well deserved winner. I think you would've got about $1.04 for that trifecta it was an easy one to pick. They were the only 3 that deserved any credible amount of votes.
