Hooray for beer!

Postby Pseudo » Mon Oct 06, 2008 12:20 am

Hooray!

I have just arrived home from the hallowed turf

I am not sober.... yes, I've had a few, and the spellcheck is being done manually with one eye closed, for I find it hard to focus with both eyes open

The Snouts are disappointed, but mostly positive. Today we saw a step towards the 2009 flag. The 2009 season begins tomorrow.

Word among the Snouts is that today we were beaten by a better team. The aspiration now is to better that team. It may happen next year. It may happen the year after. It will happen, sooner or later.

Tonight Snout's Hill was full of blokes (& ladies) who have populated that hill all year. It was great to be able to look in all directions and recognise faces which I have seen all year. Keep the faith people; sooner or laer I'll be able to clap you folks on the shoulders, as you wear your premiership T-shirts, look you in the eye, and say "I know you were here when we were shit".

Congrats to thee, Centrals. Thou art the benchmark for good reasons. Enjoy the fortune which is thine. Glenelg shall claim its turn as the benchmark

I hope.
