Sorry, been a looong long weekend...

How about the guy singing at the start of the game - words and music started a verse before he opened his mouth!!!! Pathetic, can't even sing one live song? Milli Vanilli eat your heart out!

I actually got a photo of the one that was thrown a millisecond after it left the thrower's hand, pure fluke, will have to inspect the photo closer to see if the perpetrator can be spotted and if he can I'll pass it onto the relevent authorities, throwing them into unsuspecting people is bloody dangerous.

Good stuff Wedgie!! I have read theories that good photographers tend to have more "luck" with chance happenings than the regular casual shutterbug.
I reckon put the photo up on this site also. Shame on the moron who threw it!
this isnt the first time a flare or two has been thrown at centrals games...i hope noone was hit or burnt, and i hope youdid get a shot of him chucking it wedgie, we dont need it at the footy.....

Nup, just checked it, the perpetrator is in smoke so you can't see him or her.

I'm sure Central players and supporters will be thinking of those two facts right now.

I thought Buckets played well but surely the Jack Oatey Medal winner should have been Luke Crane....

Any chance this thread could be about the footy?

I'm sure stampy will start a thread bitching about something at some stage, this can all be moved there when he does.

Pity...lets hope someone else with a conscience got a clear shot.

I guess some morons won't be satisfied until you get your own equivillent of Heysel or Hillsborough. They obviously have no idea of the sort of panic and possible stampede/crush throwing a flare into a crowded space could create...then again that would require the use of brain cells

Whilst I agree JAS that it is pretty stupid to throw a flare, we built our stadium out of concrete and it's hardly likely to turn out like those you mention. Some reality should be applied.

Really? A flag is more important than a minor round game in the 70's? Bugger me.

Wedgie wrote:Guys and gals I took 329 photos today so I'll take me a while to crop them, resize them and upload them but hope to have them up by midnight.
Photos include Sturt Reserves premiership celebrations, pre match stuff from out on the ground, action shots of the game, crowd shots, celebration shots from out on the ground, lap of honour shots from out on the ground and some shots from inside the changerooms including the singing of the song.
