Life FM's Footy Fans Fiesta - GRAND FINAL DAY

Hi everyone,

For us its our biggest game of the season, the day that decides it all.

So from 12.00pm (SA SUMMER Time) 107.9 Life FM will go live to air with a MASSIVE 3 hour pre-game show followed by the 2008 SANFL Grand Final between Central & Glenelg.

All up we will have 21 people on air during the day giving you the most diverse, SANFL focussed and comprehensive coverage possible.


PRE GAME SHOW (from 12 noon)

- Supporter interviews, including SAfooty.net's very own Dutchy (who gets to meet Big Phil for the 1st time )

- Rob Nelson from the SANFL gives us the league perspective and preview of the event

Ok, no worries. But I do have a stat to share right now for you:

This is the 4th consecutive year that the Reserves Grand Finalists are different to the League, the past three have been:

2005: Central Eagles/North Glenelg
2006: Eagles Central/North Norwood
2007: Central North/Glenelg South

It's the first time since 1949 and 1952 that there have been 4 years in a row for this stat. There was a 10 season run between 1939 and 1952 that the finalists were different.

At this stage, I will be giving a couple of upodates throughout each of the quarters...

Then I will be giving an update during the 1/4 time, 1/2 time and 3/4 time breaks...

Once the final siren has sounded, I will give a full wrap up including best players and goal scorers...

Yeah Craig Fitzgerald is in good form for the Eagles...

He kicked 6 goals in the Prelim last week so I'd expect him to carry on that kind of form...
