Sorry G...

Don't know what you are talking about

Plus PhilH is one of the nicest guys in footy I have ever met, he is a media superstar, I am far from that

Roy Laird

Good point Centurion, no obvious other candidates, another of the points which was made before the club decided posts regarding the coach were not allowed     . This is our main gripe over at Norwood land. Wanting the freedom to discuss fairly and objectively the performance of all personal at the club is not being fickle I hope!

HeartBeatsTrue wrote:Honestly, the man cant win. One minute he is bagged for not blooding youngsters and when he does, he is bagged for inconsistency and poor match results. I commend him on taking the job because who in their right mind would want to be a league coach?

We have a host of 23 and under players (unlikely to be drafted to AFL) that could form the core of a very successful and consistent team in years to come.

A lot of people tell me I'm an optimist. You have to be. Otherwise why support your team and attend games?

My only concerns with Hill, as previously stated, is that in 3 years he still hasn't found a way to prevent this stupid non-productive habit Norwood have for chipping the ball short into the pocket when going forward. Either that is how Hill wants it to be, or he is incapable of getting his message across. Kids/no kids, all the recruiting in the world won't win a flag for Norwood unless we adopt a more positive game plan and add more aggression to our play.

Because I have these thoughts doesn't mean I don't support the Norwood Football Club, or Trevor Hill, I am just frustrated watching us play and see obvious ways in which Norwood can improve.

Just remember, next year we will have to find someone to kick 56 goals just to retain the status quo, let alone improve. We need to recruit well for 2009.

Let's just say he turned up at Power training slightly "under-prepared" on more than one occasion. I'll leave it at that :)

Think what he might do if he played for the Legs fully committed to not being "under-prepared" there too.
