Wouldn't it be great to get Pavlich as i am sure Freo would want a young developing ruckmen to replace Warnock. So Griffin + 2 round pick and get Pavlich in return :D .

I think a deal may be done in volving griffin to freo - warnock to carlton - ???? to Adelaide

maybe jordan russell i think he would be worth looking at.

He was a top10 draft pick, looked real good this year.
No chance for Griffin

Not being in Adelaide I don’t see much SANFL footy but would be interested in how the crows rookie listed players went this year? Are any worth putting on the main list? I think Petrenko had already been added to the main list but will he stay?

I would think Petrenko would be a 99% chance to be promoted on a long term basis, because if they didn't he'd probably enter the main draft and would more than likely go onto a main list at another club. The Crows wouldn't want to risk that.

I have seen a few play:

Petrenko will play alot of footy for adelaide they like him as a mcleod/johncock running backman apparently.

James Moss is real young but playing league footy and a chance to play in the Grand final.

Brodie Martin played some ok footy for Sturt got into the league team half way through the year but hard to keep a spot in the Modfield with the likes of crane, sheedy, thomson etc

Sellar although not playing league still can play but unsure of his chances of staying on the list.... although he did kick a cracker of a pressure goal from a tight angle in the reserves prelim with 20 seconds to go....

Kite seems to have improved he is a hard running pacy backman or wingman.... best of half back IMO

Walker wasnt ready this year for AFL needs to work on his defensive game and contested marking but his kicking is perfect and a natural footballer so signs are promising with him.

You are probably right but those contracts aren't worth the paper they are written on.

The decision will be made tomorrow I believe. Who are we betting on?

Jericho, Campbell and Gallman for mine.

No surprises there.

Campbell showed nothing in 2 years on the list.
Jericho had a couple of good games - against weak sides.
Massie past his best, trier, no more.

Massie is stiff IMO. I still think he has something to offer the footy club.

The other 2 are no surprises, even though i like Campbell. Jericho should have been gone years ago...

All could lay a claim (of sorts) for retention, but the Crows aren't selecting a squad for just the here and now, they are in a precarious position and need to put more emphasis on the future, which was always going to mean these blokes were at risk.

Massie could be a useful inclusion for one of the contending teams, but you would still think it unlikely any of them will get re-drafted.

Massie is unlucky. Almost as unlucky as Torney last year, and will be a gun at SANFL level if he plays.

The other two probably not good enough for AFL football. Certainly at their age now, any potential that may have been seen in them has been written off.
