Well done Bays, far too good, and good to see them in the GF after all this time.

Thought this game was going to be a cracker going right down to the wire, and being the pick of the finals games, given the style of the two teams.

Agree csbowes, more than any other team in any other year in recent memory Sturt wasted a golden opportunity -looking at their list, they seemed to have the ideal blend of youth and experience, pace, height and strength.

as usual (the last few games) the glenelg midfielders beat the sturt midfielders but today we took it to another level, perhaps sturt did have an off day just like we did last week , next week should be a beauty
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I would only expect someone like James Fantasia to recruit someone like Deluca.

So be it you don't shake someones hand before a game, i havn't a problem with that but if you can't shake your opponents hand after the game your showing no respect for your opponent & obviously thats because you were beaten by him. sore loser i say!
Chambers was well beaten today & it showed.

Better watch the replay - you might think different. From your angle it would have looked great though but as the commentators even said, technically should have been a free!

No chance Mick that you have had one or two sherbets???

Enjoy the win and the week and good luck next Sunday!

you got it right mate! i will enjoy it until the stress kicks in, btw i have had a few more than one or two

Well done to the Bays, they wanted the win, Sturt hardly turned up, our worst game all year by far, I'm gutted. Not sure who I want to win now, not sure I care, I'd like Centrals to thump Glenelg just for some of the Bay's "supporters" on this forum, but I've got a few Glenelg friends so good luck for those punters.

Who??

Nah he hasn't been seen on this board since mid September 2007, He has posted on DB.org that he has been banned on here but he hasn't, "you can ban me but you can't shut me up"

He is just too gutless to show his face on here

There is a picture of Sturt1 in the dictionary next to front runner...

Apologies to all the decent Sturt fans on this baord who are decent blokes who are obviously hurting right now. I thought it would be close and I even thought Sturt would get up at times prior to yesterday. Yesterdays result has shocked me as much as anyone.

Well said Tas. Even in the third quarter I wasn't at ease, as I know Sturt are a good team that can kick quick goals, but to Glenelg's credit they kept the pressure on and maintained the focus.

Thought Forrest did a good job on Perrie, and also Sammy on Chambo, but the real crux was the midfield pressure stopping the good delivery into the forward lines....

Well done Bays !! BUT next week must turn in the same sort of performance.....

I will say well done to the bays today, they ran the ball much better, were better with ball skils and hunted in numbers. Today the Bays played the best they have played all year, hopefully they play like that next week, if not it could be cake walk for the dogs.

I couldn't believe the number of times the commentator said either Deluca or Feast won the tap and then the ball was roved by a Glenelg player.
Were they roving the taps that well? I didn't get to listen to many broadcasts this year but in all the ones that I did hear our ruckmen rarely tapped to the opposition.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail
