Why shake your opponents hand before the game? At the end is the only time that a good/bad sport can be judged on shaking hands.

Productive topic Stampy.
Sure he was beaten by Rudolph today but I would've thought it was more appropriate to shake hands after the match.
Enjoy your win and the week ahead but no need to post this crap.

Spot on, as I said in another thread I never once shaked hands with my opponent before the game in the 50 games I played, never once did an opponent seek out me to shake my hand before a game either.
What a ridiculous topic.

Here's another FACT.

Glenelg play a game of footy and Stampy starts a stupid thread about the opposition players or supporters.

Chambers didn't get a bath today he got NO delivery from the midfield and Rudolph had probably the easiest game of his career-he had nothing to do because the ball rarely got anywhere near Chambo

I don't think it makes any difference what level it is when it comes to this (ridiculous) subject. Its not like you have to be an elite athlete to stick out a hand and shake it.
Dude, enjoy your win but stop posting trollish rubbish, you look like a complete dill.
You have a go at a guy incorrectly for being a poor sportsman when you're the one being a very poor winner.
Get over it and enjoy Grand Final week, its a fun and exciting time for Bays supporters.

i didn't realise chambers was playing until he gave away the 2 by 25 metre penalties at the same time, he would have to be the player in the competition that gives away the most 25 metre penalties, this was the first occasion i have seen him dragged for it, stampy chambo is a great player but he lets himself & his team down at times with this as for shaking hands well who cares really just worry about next week
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Howdy mate,
Just checked and none of your posts on this topic have been deleted (yet).
What the hell has it got to do with Admin when EVERYONE thinksyou're on the wrong track including a Glenelg fan? :?
If you're not trolling then you're seriously deluded or thick but Ive given you the benefit of the doubt.
Seriously mate, your team has made the Grand Final, enjoy the week, no need to be a tool trying to upset Sturt supporters after you beat them.
BTW no elite level Rugby League players shake hands before a game either, I suppose they're all bad sports?

PS Let me know which radio station you're ringing, would like to hear it, you know what they say, any sort of publicity is good publicity, thanks in advance mate!

Calm down Stampy. I have a had a week off for continually having a go at SP and Wedgie makes no decisions as to what is moderated or who is banned so it is very unfair to single him out - those decisions are made by a majority of moderators who all follow different clubs.

Chambers actually did (very briefly) shake Rudolphs hand when it was offered before the game.

If you took the time to say g'day to him you'd find he's actually a very nice and humble bloke and this thread is the ultimate example of a "poor winner".

Bit harsh on Chambo there stampy... Chambers is a champion, no bones about it. Today he got probably the biggest pantsing of his career. He might as well have dropped trou, bent over forwards and begged Sammy for a spanking - 'coz he got one.

Speaks volumes for Rudolph that he can wallop a player of Chambers' calibre.

Must admit I've not seen handshakes before an event...only after...I reckon most would/should be too psyched up about the game to worry about pleasantries. Except maybe boxing and then it's usually relctantly done.
