Thanks Bays, it means Sturt still can't go ahead of North on the premiership tally table.

What a performance by the Bays! Obviously just too good. Listening on the net at times you'd hear minutes on end of Glenelg names. the occasional Sturt player wouold get in the way form time to time but would turn it over within two or three worried kicks.
All over, the better side is going to take on the Dogs next week.

BAys too good, too much run, used the ball so well, guys like Grima and Backwell slaughtered Sturt, Chambers, Perrie and co up forward for Sturt didn't get the ball, have a feeling this may be one hell of a close grand final next week

Congrats Bays on a top win. I think it's clear that the teams playing in the GF next week deserve to be there. I can't believe the ordinary performance put in by the Double Blues today. Glenelg ran harder and with an intensity that Sturt just could not match. Not many Sturt boys could put their hands up and say that they beat their man today. Great effort Rudolph to pull up after last weeks big hit and embarrass Chambo like that. Should be a great Grand Final if the Bays can play in the same fashion they did today.

Great win to the Bays, the sort of footy that got them minor premier, and lets hear the people that carried on about Daniel Schell last week , .
Have a GOOD look at the replay and have a CLOSE look[as the tribunal will be] at Mules hit off the ball on Thompson.

3. Kane
2. Fisher
1. Bode

Hinge, Grima, Rudolph all very, very good too.

Glenelg's tackling and defensive pressure was what we've come to expect. Their handballing under pressure was unbelievable and they just hit targets by foot and hand all day. Sturt didn't come to play; all their better players didn't rock up. The Power boys all had shockers.

Pretty sure Grima got 3 and Chambers got 1.

Watching ABC1 I saw Pseudo on the Hill and 1980TM doing some "boom boom boom boom" background singing for the song after the win. Gave me a chuckle!

Thought Bodey was uncustomarily fumbly today .... Would have thought"

Also thought Mules hit on Thomson looked fine ... Bays too good in the clinches and harder around the stoppages, will need to step that up a notch again next week against the masters.

Well done to the GFC, it's a credit to themselves how they've turned around the fortunes of the club.

Nothing in that. Personally i thought that is what SANFL footy is about. Tough, hard and fair.

I loved it and unfortunatly Thompson came off 2nd best.

If that gets reviewed it will be a joke.

Bays great today. Tough and hard at it. I was impressed. Sturt on the other hand had too many passengers who believed they would win the game by showing up today. Think we know who they are!!! :?
Is out of change.....thanks Cambridge Clarrie!!!

I've rarely seen a game bewteen two supposedly evenly matched teams where one group of on-ballers dominated so much.

Sturt would have to be very disappointed with today's effort.

I just thought Bode responded well after a very poor and undisciplined showing last week. He might have fumbled a bit but he won a lot of the ball, provided a real presence around the stoppages and his tackling and defensive pressure was first rate. He looked sharp out there today and his first quarter was very good and got Glenelg off to a quick start.

As for the hit on Thomson, it was fine. It was within 5 metres of the ball and was just an old fashioned, solid hit to get him away from his teammate with possession.

Sturt Supporters would be spuing!!! big lead in Round 23 and lose therefore losing top spot, lead the first final and lose, smash Norwood then get smashed by Glenelg.

Couldnt have happened to a better team
