Have Sturt missed their calling, similar to the Roosters, both clubs have had a huge opportunity over the last few years to take the premiership and both have failed dismally, could we see Sturt start to fall down the ladder as the Roosters did

I can't, they might have a few older players they've also got a hell of a lot of younger players who will continue to improve and I rate Rick Macgowan as a very good coach, Sturt will be around the mark again next year IMHO.

I think that Sturt is in the same position as North was in 2005.

Phil, I enjoyed the call, Frosty and I listened to it between the border and home. Poor Frosty's had a shocker of a weekend as he's a Sturt man as well as a Cats man! :(

3rd biggest loss in a final for Sturt, the 1973 Preliminary and the 1st Semi in 1975 against Port (93 and 67 points respectively).

Congratulations Glenelg. Much, much better on the day.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Also, Ian Mogridge beat me to a stat - 61.43% Sturt had in the minor round, and that is the highest ever % by a team not to make a Grand Final.
