Great game of footy. Forget the scores unless you are a Geelong or Hawthorn supporter, that was just some tough, hard footy that we could all enjoy on GF day. If anyone wants to look after this kids tonight, please call me as I really can't be arsed.

Absolutely BRILLIANT game of footy!!!!!!!!

Fantastic day, lived up to the hype, Hawthorn what a gutsy young team.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Luke Hodge= Best in the AFL!!!

Brilliant game of footy ruined by shocking umpiring all day. I can't remember a GF with such bad umpiring. I thought the Hawks suffered at the hands of the umpires. And I picked (and had money on) Geelong.

Luke Hodge isn't close to the best in the AFL. He's playing loose man in defense in the best team in the comp.

Playing loose in defence doesn't mean you're the best in the AFL.

They've choked BIG time.

I think the choke calls that the Cats will get are probably fiar enough. Too many players went missing.

Yep, they've repeated the season of Sturt in 1978 -1 minor round loss and bad kicking killing them in the final.

Yeah, thanks for that I-C. :(

Ya turd

During the 2nd & 3rd Qs, I was thinking that Geelong's performance was a cross between Sturt '78 and North Melbourne '98

I agree with you, the umpires favoured Geelong allday & if only the umps were consistent Hawthorn would of won by 10 goals.
