No-one would be getting more than Jeremy Clayton's 60K, if so they're not worth it.

Is hard to comment on opposition players because you dont see them often but from Norwood's position..... David Trotter.
Been very happy with Rowe, Davis and Doyle when fit too.
Weatherall has been the big surprise packet though.

If Clayton is on 60k, Alleway would be worth that- although he's not on 60K, I would rate Alleway more valuable than Clayton.

Jeremy Clayton is far more valuable then Alleway. Alleway a very good player, but Clayton does it all over the field, wins the ball deep in defence, clears the ball out of the middle, and marks the ball up forward and kicks goals.

he plays for Sturt not Norwood.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Craig Gogoll , who the Eagles recruited from Centrals, did show a lot of signs during the year.
David Biagi also showed a sign, it said ''fish out of water".
Our recruit from Albury Wodonga also showed a sign, his said ''lift to bus station please".
The eagles recruiting group also showed a sign '' we have not done our homework."

Recruit of the year ,easy Jeremy Aufderhide.
Laugh if you may, but the guy has been in the injury widerness for 2 or so years, plays 5 ressie games, comes back into the league side, for the all important clash against 2nd top team Sturt.
Plays ok, but at the same time his height frees up other tall options, then plays a signifigant role in two finals victories.
Is going to be a key ingredient on the biggest day in the SANFL footy calender.
I know he is from the bulldogs but given his circumstances is virtually a new recruit, and has been a key in the bulldogs finals campaign.
Bet not too many sides would sneeze at a 6 foot4 full back,[premiership full back]fit as ever ,in good form, raring to go ,adding strength to the backline at this time of year 8)
No1 recruit 8)

Not sure if Jezza could be classed as recruit of the year, but his value in the last few weeks cannot be underestimated.

Thats right SMac,not really a recruit as such, but given hes not played for 2 years, and has slotted in and played an integral role in the last 3 games,he is virtually like having a new recruit come the business end of the season.
His height and the versatility with him being there allows more flexibility.
Since him coming in we have knocked off Sturt,Sturt again then the Bays, probably a bit early to make statements until after the GF,but so far its worked.
As for a genuine recruit from another club Tod Grima at the Bays looks to be the standout from what I"ve seen.
Cheers 8)

We kept Jezza and let Nick Prokopec go....by the way, how is he going ?

As we know, Nick left to go and play at West Adelalaide...

After struggling with the dreaded OP he struggled to get a league game in a struggling West Adelaide outfit...

Gave up on the SANFL career mid last season and ended up playing a few games with South Galwer in the Barossa League and on a few ocassions, kicked bags of goals.

Moved to Whyalla this year with his job as a teacher and played footy over there for North Whyalla (I think ?)

Was in the paper most weeks amongst the goal kickers but not aure how many he ended up with for the season.
