Lets elaborate.
Geelong 16.18.114 Hawthorn15. 7. 97
Mooney 5 goals
Franklin 8
Norm Smith Medal; Gary Ablett
Attendance 97,505

HAHA maybe, but i don't think there are enough behinds on Hawthorns scoreline for buddy to kick eight. if buddy kicks eight with the scoe line needing to be similar it might read Geelong 16.18.114 def Hawthorn 15.17.107 Buddy Franklin 8.10 :D

Have my tickets.
Unfortunately they're concession standing room tickets.
Not sure I want to travel all the way to Melbourne to have the chance of being turned away because I dont have a concession card, especially for standing room tickets.
Only good thing is standing room tickets are allocated certain bays to stand behind and its policed so its not a complete free for all.
Everyone Ive talked to assures me I'd get in ok as the employees at the gates never check if they're concession or not (I know they didn't when I went to both prelims last weekend), plus the tickets dont actually say concession, they just have the price paid for them on the ticket stub.
Might be open to offers if I whimp out.

Geelong should win. The one thing Hawthorn have got going for them is an abundance of left-footers, thought I counted 8 or 9 the other night.

doodle doodle doodle doodle
Welcome to the Twilight Zone

Whichever team zones the best will win this game
Hopefully this game is beamed throughout the world , so the world can see our new hybrid game of soccer

I really hope its a game of Aussies Rules Footy, but sadly I dont think so
If given a one sided zonetone game I get the feeling people may be turned off this once great game

Let me guess 9 defenders on Buddy with the zonetone ?
Let me guess 31 kicks that go backwards
Let me guess 47 kicks that go sideways
Let me guess 4,075 interchanges
Let me guess an early 50m penalty for touching an opponents jumper
Let me guess ruckman cant keep up to the boundary throw ins becoz of the extra boundary umps

Sorry to be downcast , no doubt I will get some replies, go for it peoples.
BUT
This year I managed to turn off or switch channels after watching some games in the AFL zontone, something I never used to do

I will watch the G/F, Footy still a good game to view, but not like it used to be

To me, the SANFL team that plays the game most like an AFL side is Central District

What does that tell you? :-k

I reckon Saturday's game will be a cracker! I have been trying to convince myself there could be an upset but as the week goes on I come back to the Cats.

I doubt it will be attacking R/M
GE will want to make it a zonetone scrap
If they allow ROUGHIE/BUDDY/WILLIAMS to play one out with their opponents they will cause some damage.
GE MUST have numbers back to stop the potent HW attack

Looked pretty similar to the Glenelg Flood/Zone in the same game, didn't it? Except it worked.

Nope your off track there Smac, I havent seen the Bays adopt flooding as their strategy all year...on Sunday they had at least 2 forwards Inside 50 all day, Central did not.....

i think HAWTHORN is the team you should refer too when mentioning ZONEtones, as they have used this effectively all year.
Matty Wade is a star and deserves more respect from the forum family!
