Darren Mead back at Port.

Postby NO-MERCY » Mon Sep 22, 2008 1:27 am

I heard Darren Mead will be back at the Port Magpies in season 2009?
What happened to the 2nd interview at North Adelaide?
It will be interesting seeing the outcome to this particular rumour as Darren never showed any interest in the Magpies once he was with & finished with the Power, some-one thought he was to good for them!

The mail is if he stayed on at Gaza, they would be losing 1/2 a side.

Crikey, I hope you're right NoMercy, the only thing North needs to become even more mediocre is a touch of the Power and South about us. :?

He even phoned the RPH football show on Monday morning to confirm he will be at Gaza next year.

Cheers

I heard Mead enquired about the seniors job at Alberton but was told Tim will be getting another 1yr extension. While there he had the nerve to ask for names & numbers of players, a bit cheeky!
Back to the drawing board at Gaza for Mead, i just wonder whether he'll have any players to coach down there!

No-Mercy, How do you rate the other coaching staff at Port Adelaide. In the box i know they have Wayne Mahney, Gary Tredrea, David Baker etc.... At times the club has been criticized for not being tactical enough, are these the right people helping Timmy?

Tredrea first year back so a bit hard to judge but as far as the others are concerned i think they've been there long enough with no success.
Time for a change definately.
