Having the second and third best sides playing off for the mantle would be unethical and detrimental for the SANFL.
What are Central supposed to do?Lower their standards to not strive for excellence and be the best they can, just to make some punters from other clubs happy to see a few more faces at the GF.

So how tired are you of their constant GF appearances? 9 in a row, give me a break.

The neutral fans will never attend another GF until they're out of the picture so the days fof 35+ crowds are over for the time being.

I'm a Westies supporter who is in Awwwwwwwwwwwe of a great club. Thats the only way you can describe them.

Backs against the wall, they defeat Sturts ?a fluke? mmmm, and then do a job on the bays, mmmm no fluke.

Surts and the Bays could on their day beat Centrals but do they have the ticker this club has????

Welldone Central Districts!!!!!!!!!! Bl#####dy again and again

Sturt will defeat Centrals once they take care of Glenelg.

Not a lot mate, the thread should probably be re-named "How bored are you by the lack of your teams success?"

I don't think the Dog's playing in it removes any gloss, especially as a crowd v either Glenelg or Sturt should be very healthy ... A lot of neutral punters should try to remove their passion/allegiance to their own club when watching the Dogs and just enjoy the game they bring, they embody September and I was in awe of them again yesterday.

Not bored at all, if the Eagles are not there. Might make seven other clubs who rubbished the Eagles for not having a better record against the Dogs in finals realise how hard it is to beat them in finals. Go the Dogs.................

I'm asking this question quite seriously...

As a Centrals supporters are you still as excited about the thought of winning a premiership as you were back in 2000?

I know that while I would be elated by a Sturt flag this year it wouldn't be quite as special as the flag in 2002...

The longer you have to wait for something the more special it is once you get it (ask any Cats supporter)...

Hang in there Westies and Southies supporters, your time will come.

Don't bag the Dogs for being such a success though...their time at the bottom of the ladder will come too.

Sam_goUUUDogs made a good point in saying that Centrals dominance has probably been good for the overall standard of the competition.
