First class performance by the Dogs today. Workrate and intensity exceptional and nailed opportunities when they arose.

I was hoping we would start well, and we did, although I would have been very happy as a Bays supporter at 1/4 time having turned the momentum around. In fact were it not for some poor goal kicking in the second quarter, Glenelg could have found themselves with a handy lead at half time. Good sides, however, punish those sort of errors- and a good side we are.

Still think that if the Prleim winner can come thru without too many injuries then the GF will be a genuine 50 -50 affair.

BTW - Great game by Schelly & absolutely nothing in the Rudolph tackle (once the understandable emotion has been removed from the equation). If he has been reported it will be withdrawn quicksmart.

Hmm maybe Dutchy is right...

WTF is Schell doing after he has tackled him....

You be the judge...

So if what he did is outside the laws of the game (which personally i dont think it was) would you expect a player from your team to just get up and walk away. Maybe there is a point there as to why the dogs have been able to do what thay have done for such along time. Not going outside the laws of the game but to show aggression at the ball and player. Also it was the tackle that did the damage not what happened afterwards.
What about Hinges hit on Slade in the last quarter, obviously being a kind hearted bay player never tried to get Slade above his shoulder(pure accident). There was more in that than the Schell incident.

Im used to seeing this guy starring
today he was below his best[and has been for a while now]

I think Mickan might of :
CD well in front in the last qtr
perhaps given JM a run on the ball to get some confidence

I must admit that it was interesting to hear a lot of Glenelg supporters boo James or Chris whenever they went near the ball. if they put the same intensity into supporting their own team, it would be great. Btw, Glenelg fans sure know how to fire Central players up - keep on booing James and Chris all you like!

Two people, one male, one female.

As for the bloke, what a CLOWN and TOOL. The Snouts gave a huge cheer for James Gowans  when he tackled the halfwit.

As for the sheila, if she'd gotten her kit off then she'd have been a legend. Instead she's as big a tool as her boyfriend.

Why would you run onto the ground with your kit still on ferchrissakes?

Dutchy, I am confident that if Schelly realised that Rudolph had been concussed he would not have continued on the way he did. If he did know that he was concussed, then Schelly definitely did the wrong thing. However, I would give him the benefit of the doubt - he would not have been aware of Rudolph's condition IMHO.

You don't get it do you Dutchy??? How could Schell have known (in that split second) that Rudolph was knocked out in the tackle and he hardly did anything menacing after he had him pinned to the ground. A couple of half taps which were nothing. Comparing that tackle to a boxing punch is really clutching at straws and being sooky if that's all you can come up with.

Very low. A great tackle spoiled by a bad act of poor sportsmanship. Certainly guilty of rough conduct, if the powers that be could be arsed doing the right thing and reporting him from video. That Rudolph went off in a stretcher and a neck brace defines exactly how low this act was. A spinal injury is possibly the worst thing a bloke could inflict upon another bloke on a footy ground. I do hope for Sammy's sake that he's OK - and Mr. Schell would do well to hope he pulls up OK too.

Fair go Pseudo. Could you have imagined the sight last week when Chambo kicked his tonne if all them people were nude?

I wish Glenelg supporters would concentrate more on the positives from today's game. Firstly, they played very well in the last half of the first quarter. Secondly, they controlled much of the second quarter - apart from not converting their opportunities. Thirdly, Grima's performance was excellent - probably BOG. Rudolph (until the unfortunate tackle) also looked very good and was prepared to break lines. Glenelg will learn from the experience and come out much harder next weekend.

According to Mickan when he was interviewed on the 5AA SANFL show he is fine. He also walked back to the interchange bench in the last quarter alright.

Agree with that. The Bulldogs were freaks in front of goal today. Whereas Glenelg's forwards were, well, just freaks :D

Beauty, cheers for that. All I saw was the replay on the big screen and Sam getting carted off after.
