well done dogs too good, but Glenelg were shite....not hard to work out the dogs game plan, flood flood flood and make it a close tight contest...hard to understand we couldnt adapt

As for Schell, an abosolutely disgraceful attack on Rudolph, knocking him out in a tackle then going back twice with the shoulder and head to the body when he clearly was laying knocked out unconsious was a disgrace and should be reported by teh league and rubbed out...

and while on it the Dogs have the Umps beautifully bluffed...

Great win by Centrals today. Jumped the Bays with 3 early goals - the Dogs had come to play today. Glenelg to their credit fought back, but the key moment once again was late in the second quarter when Centrals kicked 2 quick goals to lead by 6 points, but more importantly, had all the momentum. All Glenelg's effort in the second quarter to just outscore us by 2 points would have been a concern to Glenelg.

Then there's the third quarter, and this is why they call it the premiership quarter. Centrals ran riot, kicking 6 goals to 1, and totally dominating play. It would have been tough for Glenelg to come back from here, but they are the minor premiers, and as Sturt learnt last week, disrespect your oppononent at your peril.

Centrals continued on where they left off early in the last quarter, racing out to a near 50 point lead. The flares started, and it was game over. Glenelg kicked a couple of consolation goals, but it was all too late.

What I loved about Centrals was that they always made a contest out of it. Several times we made something out of nothing - one example being Goodrem's first goal. When they kept the pressure up, Glenelg turned it over.

Gettin in was much smoother today - looks like Adelaide Oval used proper Ticketek staff rather than Wereslow to issue the tickets this week (they even had roving staff around the queues selling Adult tickets on the spot! The only drawback of being in a Grand Final is having to deal with that rabble that are BASS - the sooner the SANFL get Ticketek into AAMI Stadium the better!

Wereslow showed how much of a rabble they are when one of the pitch invaders broke free from one of them! Tho the invader was playing with fire trying to take on Gowans! He'd have more of a chance against Andrew Symonds!
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Dutchy, strange that coming from a Glenelg supporter seeing that Glenelg tended to raise the elbow at every opportunity today. The actions of Todd Grima on the wing today were an absolute disgrace and there were at least four other occasions which were nearly as bad.

Was not a good showing at all by the bay boys. Grima played an awesome game. I thought the turning point was in the second term when fisher marked abou twenty ou and went to play on and got caught :? . If he kicked the goal they would have been a couple of goals up with a bit of momentum, but instead it resulted in a doggies goal and they ran away with it after that. Bays were way too loose today!!

What a load of crap - Rudolph was knocked out during a fair but hard tackle and there was no way Schell could have known his "lights were out" as he completed the tackle which happened in a split second. Also he didn't make any contact with his head from what they showed on TV. A couple of shoves in the aftermath like 99% of players do was the follow up and there was nothing wrong with that either.

Funny no Bays players around thought it was over the top otherwise they would have remonstrated with him. It was just one of those things that happen from time to time in Football.

A little harsh when you know he was banned and only very recently reinstated so he could participate in the tipping comp. Not painting yourself in the best light so far tonight mate.

=D> Thats right, no remonstrating means they either dont like Rudolph or there was nothing in it.

Agreed and it didn't appear that the umpire looked overly worried at the time but what could he have possibly been reported for when he completed a good tackle?

Actually, to be honest, it was a very good tackle. Just a shame that Rudolph's head did hit the ground as a result. I do pray that he is okay and can take his part next week. Thankfully, according to Mark Mickan, he does seem fine at the moment.
