Who won your club's forum POTY in 2008?

Who won your club's forum player of the year, and what prize do they get?

At Norwood, it was

1st - Brett Zorzi 15
2nd - Nick Duigan 14
equal 3rd - Josh Donohue and David Trotter 13

Prize is a trophy and a voucher.

Past winners have been

2005 - Stephen Bailey
2006 - Bryce Campbell
2007 - Kieran McGuinness
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

The Roost POTY winner was Jimmy Allan with 59 votes
Clinton Alleway was 2nd with 48
& Damon White 3rd with 22

Although as we all know the Eagles don't have a proper forum I have established a count for the Eagles POTY by using the best players from each round of the season as seen on sanfl.com.au I have used a 5-4-3-2-1 voting format. Here is the final leaderboard:

I wish your group were picking the B&F winners. Pretty much on the money IMO, although I would have still had Borlace ahead of Campbell in 2006 ... just :)

SL.org POTY is still going.

Currently Ty Allan leads.

Winner is awarded a perpetual trophy at the club JH Ellers and ER Curnow awards night. Winner gets a small replica trophy to keep.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

bloodntars.com members were too busy drowning our sorrows to have a POTY this year.

However, the 'Wolfpack' did run one and winner was Ryan Ferguson from Damian Cupido.

The prize of a dinner for two at Regattas was presented to Ryan on the ground at a training session recently. Our thanks to Andrew Collins for his support in suggesting and supporting the presentation.
