Why on earth would we think about trying to enter the AFL? We have a much smaller supporter base than Port and they're struggling as it is. Not to mention that SA is far from capable of supporting a third side economically. I think well have 5 sides in NSW and 4 in QLD before SA has a third.

And just because we modelled ourselves on Port in the early 90s doesn't mean we still model ourselves on them. The lessons we learned were about being ruthless and focussed. No player comes before the team under any circumstance (Scott Lee in 2000, Switala in 04 and was Scoullar dropped for Arnold in 01 or something?). I think we extended this further than Port by embracing change. We were, IMHO, the first club to adapt to the new competition when it changed in the late 90s. We don't need to go to the AFL to prove anything like Port did, even if there were an opportunity.

So to answer your question, yes we are happy to win flag after flag after flag in the SANFL. And if being able to have the utmost trust in our administration, coaching and players to get the job done year after year is arrogance then I'm more than happy to admit being arrogant.

From the SANFL site.....

Glenelg, making its first appearance in the finals series after having a bye last week as reward for finishing minor premier, will carry the favouritism tag into the battle.

Really ? I would think the Dogs are definite favourites going into this game ! More experience in finals, but the Bays will definitely be determined to get the points.

Bays minor premiers have to be favourites bayman, you know it, stop deflecting!

And the Bays can have the points, we'll have the win.

And Partland hasn't tipped Centrals in a final for years.

I did pick a Glenelg v Sturt GF but i have changed my mind, Centrals will smash Glenelg this week.
Sturt will smash Glenelg next week after they beat Norwood this week.
For the big one Centrals v Sturt & Sturt to win by 4 goals.
Sorry you doggy fans you've won 6 to many!

Been thinking this is the way to go all week. Schell MUST play forward and Mossy will give us more speed across the middle. With Lawry a possible out [-o< , Hadden or Moss would be great selection for the Bulldogs.

So Roy will play Moss?

Then I guess Jen will have to play Richmond....
