And Life FM for a great broadcast. While not the same as watching it on TV, I didn't mind listening to it on the wireless :) !

I picked Luke Crane at the start of the year, but I thought he was a little inconsistent as the year went on, so I went off him :)

Spelly, Norwood had 19 players poll votes. Was this the highest from all 9 clubs, and would you know the most players from any club to poll votes in one season?

I couldn't keep up with the players unfortunately, but Sturt and Norwood in 1978 had 20 players, I'll have a look for more.

Same. He was brilliant in 2007. Could only manage to be bloody good this year.

Well said, and it's one of the many reasons I don't believe in Magarey Medals. They are entertainment value, but that's about all.

Great stuff to see Crane win, VERY good player and one of the best in the SANFL, certainly this year and great to see him acknowledged. Some AFL clubs could do worse in the national draft I rekon than pick him up with their last pick.

Also well done to Boydy for getting runner up, Jeremy Clayton MKII and prob a more pure rover. Tiny but very good.

How many did Sheedy poll? geez he was nowhere.

Keep an eye on Number2 in the Double Blue jumper on Sunday and you will see :D

Round 1 polled 3 votes

Round 11 polled 2 votes

Sturt played and defeated Norwood in these games-surprised you didn't notice Luke already !!

It was my understanding Tim was told he would have to START the season in the twos, not neccessarily play the whole season there

Spot on. Umpires have always liked players the same size as them.
