i hope your right  & central start slowly because i think we'll be fitter (leg wise) in the last term, but i think centrals experience will help them & especially early

I think the main problem here for Glenelg is that Sturt has done a wonderful job of revitalising the Dogs. Even though they only finished one game below the Blues, there has been talk the whole year long that maybe the Dogs had dropped away a bit a while being very good, weren't up to Glenelg and Sturt this season.

Now I think we've just reinforced the feeling at Central that they can take out the premiership again. For that I think Sturt should apologise for everyone, as this was a golden opportunity to send Central into an Elimination Final and generally make things difficult for them. Now though, I think they're primed to knock off Glenelg.

Glenelg are going to have to put in a super performance...

For Sturt, I think they are in real trouble. I can see them nailing the Redlegs this week, but its going to be difficult to front up to the Dogs or Tigers the following week. So I no longer think they can make it...

u bueauty bring it on. Should be a cracker of a game and the team that plays it right out to the end. Can't wait for next Sunday. Shoulders to the wheel boys the season starts now.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Glenelg should start favourites and will win by 3 or 4 goals. I never thought I would be this confident about Glenelg in finals!

Hmm.. I was confident about Sturt winning today... Good luck to you guys but I reckon your last couple of months have been nothing to write home about... Should be a good game though...Central by 4 goals.

My thoughts also, need to settle early and play the game on our terms

You are both full of it.

Dogs have been nowhere near fast starters, there will be no need to start well, there will be a need to finish well.

I agree with Smac, my biggest worry next week will be when we get 3-4 goals up, thats the time you need to hit another gear and bury them, if you dont you lose, they have proved that time and time again....

still think today was a great result for the Bays for a number of reasons....

would also not write off Sturt yet, the loser of this game is going to have a hell of a trip to get to the GF...

Not a bad effort (all year) from a side that doesn't have a forward line. Please, please Heath Lawry, start taking contested marks, or I am afraid that this week will be your last game this year (that's if you make the side at all this week)!
BTW, where are those Sturt supporters that were bagging Buckets a few weeks back?

I don't think we were lacking in confidence or belief - we have played in the last 8 GFs and won 6 of them. It has been a frustrating season with form and injuries but we know we always go up a gear in finals. No doubt Sturt and Glenelg have improved this year - the question is how much?

When we win by only 3 points then you would have to say that was lucky. Sturt are around the mark and I would expect them to beat Norwood next week. Now to see where Glenelg are at! Looking forward to the match.

Doggies still not playing to their full potential, very undisciplined and no forwards firing, whats happend to Cowan, Lawry,Callinan and Schelly all out of form.

They must lift to play in this years GF !!!!!!

I agree

The Bays have yet to put together 4 good, solid quarters of Football in recent months. With that in mind, The Dogs will tear any team apart.

Callinan out of form? I think u will find that he is starting to hit peak form the last couple weeks and playing more of a role in the midfield. Wouldnt mind seeing Laird play Schell up forward this week.
