QUESTION " Why has NW got such a good record v PA in SANFL finals" ?

NW more wins head to head in finals v PA
PA more wins head to head in the minor round v NW

The Question is why is it so?[apart from the fact that NW kicks more total points than PA in finals]

This perception of PA being the intangible ruthless almost invincible finals team is not so v NW in over 100 years of SANFL footy.

Any logical reason why ?

Sorry Mal you're wrong. We won the 1st Semi against the Eagles in 2002 at Adelaide Oval.

Er...wasn't that match at Football Park?

Yes it was REB, we had to play catch up footy to get to there, and almost became the 2nd time a side in the bottom 6 beat a top three side for that season. But it wasn't to be.

Its pretty obvious why NW have not won a final at Adelaide oval in 46 years
NW didnt play PA
Sorry Booney/Macca/mags80/pafc1870 I couldnt resist that.

What's the difference between Hargraves and a 69?

I may have missed it but can anyone tell me - has Daniel Hargraves been cited for decking Aaron Kite?

Decking and concussing player just over half your age is a pretty low act.
Repect hargs as a player and person so if it was on purpose I would expect it to be out of character.
Anyone see it? If so was it accidental? I was watching the ball going thru the goals. TV replay isnt conclusive IMO.

Before everyone jumps on me and bring up macca in 1997, he at least payed the ultimate price for his actions and missed playing and captaining in a premiership side.

As supporters, emotion plays a big part in these things ... I've always thought the age of a player felled is irrelevant, if you put your hand up to play senior football then you're subject to the same treatment fair or otherwise, as anyone else on the field.

As for the incident itself, I still haven't seen it so can't comment on it.
