They would be a good start to the 09 recruiting spree that is needed.

Shall I start a SKIPWORTH 2009 MAGAREY MEDAL post ?
Good to see him back a delightful player to watch
It would be nice for EG fans to see CICCY/SKIPPY both firing in 2009

oh the irony- Skipworth returns to WWT a failure, whilst Matt Campbell goes from strength to strength in the AFL...

do I need to show you a flow chart that explains the AFL being a level (or 2) above the VFL?

As mickyj said, if confirmed, it would be a good start.

And, hopefully we can keep as many players as possible. I think the core players at the club are (with 2008 games in brackets:

McKenzie (19)
Treeby (17)
Passador (14)
Grocke (14)
Schwarze (12)
Hier (12)
P.Fiacchi (15)
Jarrad (20)
Cicolella (5)
Dabrowski (20) - both he and Jarrad were the only two to play every match
Powell (19)
Klun (7)
Symmons (9)
Geddes (13)

I don't know how many players we will keep out of Hall, Lane, Goldsworthy, Broadbent, Hicks and Daveron, but are all promising players. Broadbent will be drafted no doubt.

Precisely.

From an Eagles point of view, our concern is with Skipworth and not a player who has never played for us in Campbell.

Had called for this on a previous thread. It would be fantastic to see Skippy back in the blue, green and gold. Hope this is confirmed by the club soon. Sam Jacobs would also be handy coupled with Biglands we would be almost unbeatable in ruck.

LMAO
Make that 2 levels Punk - the VFL is a level below the SANFL and the SANFL is a level below the AFL!
