Was just something i heard - that he could well have been sacked earlier in the year, but in the end, the NAFC left it til the end of the year.

and a very good one at that, that was without doubt Norths best performance in 2008.

Agreed Apachebulldog, Jars is not the only one that should be sacked, the club should be ridding of a couple people who 'run' our club as well as a couple of our players.

Only because most choose not to vote or rock up to the AGM. Basically what happens is the AGM is held, the majority of members don't turn up or exercise their right to an absentee vote, then complain that they have no say. I am not particularly happy with the way the voting has panned out each year but at least i actually vote. If all the members actually voted things might be different. Lets be honest there would be very very few absentee votes. The average age of people at the AGM would be about 70. Get more people to vote and perhaps the members might have a say.
