Players Commit For 2009
Members will be pleased to learn that to date the following players have been contracted for next year :

Trent Sporn, Clint Alleway, James Allan, Daniel Ward, Andrew McIntyre, Rhys Archard, David Clarke, Leigh Ryswyk, Zac Millar, Ricky Ebert, Todd Pfeiffer, Josh Starke, Damian Cunningham, Rory O'Brien, Daniel Stewart and Jordan Dodman.

As others come on board, we will provide an update.

Good Point Locky

Why name a lad in your "players to commit for 2009" when it is highly possible he could get drafted, U r a Norths man and a kid of Stewarts size would be a rough outside chance.

Why not wait until after the draft before u start listing "players committing"

These are players who have committed to the club for 2009. I am sure the younger guys have committed to play should they not get drafted.

Hope not, I've been impressed with Stewart from what I've seen of him.

We'll take them, I think Ryswyk in particular would look good in a Doggies jumper, running off a wing :wink:

you did miss one important signing, i heard rumour that David Tiller is going to be signed up as the new coach for 2009 and 2010.

Clarke is an ordinary skilled hack
Ryswyk is that scared its bordering on embarrassing
Ebert actually improved slightly towards the end of the year, but is not good enough.

2 more sign up - from the NAFC web=18 so far

Younie & Wright Commit
Further to our story last week North Adelaide Football Club is pleased to announce the signings of Heath Younie and Matthew Wright.

Younie will enter his 9th season at the club. In his time he has become one of North's most consistent players. Winning two Club Champion awards and finishing in the top 5 on numerous occasions.

Wright had a break through year in 2008, averaging over 20 possessions per game. Still only 18 years old he has a huge future ahead of him.

Younie and Wright join the following players in being committed to North Adelaide Football Club in 2009. Trent Sporn, Clint Alleway, James Allan, Daniel Ward, Andrew McIntyre, Rhys Archard, David Clarke, Leigh Ryswyk, Zac Millar, Ricky Ebert, Todd Pfeiffer, Josh Starke, Damian Cunningham, Rory O'Brien, Daniel Stewart and Jordan Dodman.
