Staker. Cornes said Embley but made the mistake. Embley was quoted as saying he thinks Staker will be a big time player next year for another side.

Staker. You cannot be serious? :o :?

When I think about it, he's the exact kind of player Craig will want. He's versatile.

Please no, please, please no.

Why not??? i have always thought he would be a possible target because he is versatile and there are no real other forward options around for trade. He can take a grab up forward and kicsk fairly straight. He obviously isnt enjoying his footy in WA anymore as he was playing great footy in recent years but couldnt find a regular spot. I say go for him he is still youngish. I see more positives than negatives in the crows persuing Staker

Staker is not what we need....If we want to chase someone from West Coast I have 3 things to say BEAU WATERS, BEAU WATERS, BEAU WATERS :)

It doesn't but I don't think Staker is the answer either, was just saying if they want to talk to West Coast about trading I'd rather discuss Waters (good replacement for Bassett) than Staker.

To me Staker is in the same mould as a McGregor, Gill, Hentschel, Jericho & Scott Stevens....We've got too many of his type of player.

Is our 1st round pick + Johncock to Geelong for Tom Hawkins asking too much? :D

Staker is a good footballer but the crows really need a player they can build a forward line around. Im not really sure that Staker is the man you should be targeting.

Crows forward line is getting all the blame but it was the clearances/inside 50s not the forward line that cost us against pies. With hentschel at FF and gill at CHF and porp/doug crumbing i like the crows forwards. Agree with waters- would be a good trade.

I thought Staker could be a player to try to get for a while now, since he's a Broken Hill boy he'd be closer to home.
