Never saw David Gallagher?

Gags played a couple of decent games - he showed no desire or passion for the club as occasionaly happens when your an assigned player through the mini draft. His problem was he thought he was too good for SANFL level.

Yeah we're both in the same boat on that one. Allthough most so called experts were tipping North to finish well above the Eagles.

Agreed - i'd like to know how many more AFL games he played after he was traded by the Crows. It wouldn't have been many.

It's a good week for the Bays to sit back and watch the other four finalists belt hell out of eachother.

Carn everyone. I want some genuine challengers for the THUG Cup...belt someone, duck, belt their mate, then get belted back.

Let's get this topic back on track chaps.

For the Eagles to be successful once again and compete in the finals again recruiting has to be our no.1 priority but what type of players do we look for ? How will the AFL draft period effect us ? How many will we lose this season to retirement or other clubs. Like I've said before we need to invest time and money in keeping McGregor and regaining the services of both Biglands and Skipworth. We will however lose Petrenko and Salter on a more regular basis though as they are both destined to play more AFL next season.

I disagree about Sweet FA. We have been in the wilderness since 2002. If you are a Torrens or Woodville man you should understand that small steps in the right direction does not equal Sweet FA at all, it represents genuine progress. If you are just a hybrid, then we know who the real bandwaggoner is.

Let him have his fun. He's supporting a finalist for the first time in 6 years. Considering more than half the comp (apart from 2003 I think) make the finals to miss 5 years in a row is pretty poor. Fair enough to enjoy being in the finals. And more importantly it was either Norwood or the Eagles, really.

Oh, almost forgot, sucked in for only making the elim.
