Crap crowd, crap weather, crap game, crap season from both sides.

At least North gave Wintle a good send-off.

Very disappointing effort by our lads today. Not a great way to send off Donaldson, Hamblin and Gathercole.

2nd half was a non event as it was the wettest Ive ever been at a game, first half was played in good conditions, I thought we were bad but West were awful.
I honestly hope Cupido isn't paid any money to play, he's awful.
And that no 38 for West is the biggest sniper Ive ever seen, elbows Jimmy Allan behind the play and that genuinely gets upset when Jimmy confronts him face to face. One of the more piss weak things Ive seen on the footy field for a long time.
Anyway, a good way to finish the year out between the 2 worst sides of the competition, Im just stoked I get to spend more time travelling interstate than I have for the last few years!

We all see what we want to see. I see Jimmy Allen as a very good player, but a very angry player, who's happy to give as good as he gets.

I saw Ryan Willits reported for 'kicking' when he was attemting to kick the ball and I saw a North player given a free kick against him for landing a 'haymaker' punch. Everyone saw it, not just me.

Two ordinary sides playing ordinary football in very ordinary conditions.

On another note an outstanding player and bloke played his last game today. Well done on a fine career Daryl Wintle.

Angry Allan? - No suprise when clearly the West tatic was to try and take him out illegally all game. There were some less than average footballers playing for West who were guilty of those tatics and it shows how bad West are that they couldn't even take out the smallest bloke on the field. No wonder your club is rock bottom.

The only class shown by West all day was after the siren when they waited on field for Wintler to be chaired off before chairing off their own retirees.

Allan's opponent was 'taken out' at the very first bounce, drebin, but I suspect you didn't see, or want to see, that. If I were you, I'd be worrying more about why your team underachieves, despite the money spent, rather than the opposition.

I notice that Daniel Ward was reported. If the SANFL want witnesses, I'm sure you'll volunteer :)

Congratulations to Darryl on his contribution the the NAFC, A great lad who had a bad run with injuries but still gave everything he had for the red & white Roosters.

Good luck Darryl in retirement.

Sounds like future clashes between North and West ought to be named "The THUG Cup" in honour of what is being said about yesterdays clash, and to remember the former THUG in Dean Howard, who played at both clubs in his sniping career.

Surprised that no one has leapt to the defence of Cupido, following Wedgie's comment...I presume he put in a poor one???

Thug Cup?

There was a bit of off-the-ball action yesterday, but you get that sometimes during a game of football (AFL excluded).

No, he played well and has been excellent in every way this year.

I think West fans just choose to ignore those sort of statements.

I just realised only 2 league teams will finish 2008 on a win and we're one of them!

The reporting of Willitts is a mistake- should be thrown out asap.
As for Ward getting reported, you West supporters must be vision impaired (or have a poor memory), as I recall 4 West players trying to rip him apart in 4 different directions- Ward should be commended for only ALLEGEDLY striking 1 player...
