Who knows with Port as it would have no effect on them at all which day they played. Our club officials however were very confident that the game would be played on opposite day to the Crows.

I thought Port would welcome the move - 7 day break instead of 6.

It makes more sense all around for everybody. What a game it should be - the battle of the birds from the western side of town duking it out for the final spot in the 5. It would be stupid to play this game in direct competition to a Crows home final.

I hope that the Prelimination is on sunday for a few reasons.

1) Avoid clash with afl, therefore more eagles fans there on sunday
2) Less ethelton magpie fans on Sunday. The change will just push them over the edge. Hell, they are confused enough on their busy fathers days, wandering around adelaide asking whoever will listen, are you my dad?.

I would have thought point 2 would have been more aptly pointed towards the CDFC.

So who will come in and who will go out Wright should be an out after injuring his shoulder against Norwood.

Eagles need to play a lot better than the last time they played at Alberton. And Eagles need to play for four quarters not 3

Does this mean that we're the underdogs again this week?

May have beaten Dabrowski and McKenzie last time but they are in far better form now and they are also getting a lot more support than they were a month ago.

Well seeing that the Eagles are underdogs and have no chance in hell of winning it wont matter anyway.

Glenelg were 5 goals up approaching time on in the 2nd qtr against the Eagles and then took the foot off the pedal.

Yesterday they kept foot down all game.

This game will be a lot closer than people think.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Correct, upset of the season last week. South beating Glenelg at the bay doesnt even hold a candle to the magnitude of the upset I witnessed on Saturday.
