what's more important team preparation or $$ into the clubs

Postby bayman » Sun Aug 31, 2008 6:29 pm

well word at alberton today was that glenelg would want this weeks game against norwood transferred to sunday if the crows did play on saturday afternoon

to my way of thinking it

helps with revenue

it may hinder the teams preparation for a final the week after

personally i'd want them to play saturday rather than sunday to give them the best chance of recovery going into the final (presuming we do run 2nd at the end of the minor round)
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Winning the flag should be the ultimate revenue earner.
Is that a bit too cryptic?
Good question though.
Administration would be looking at $ whilst coach would be worried with prep.
What would really be interesting is how dogmatic either side is.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.

I'd prefer to leave it on Saturday anyway, I would have only wanted a change myself if the Crows were scheduled then.

For me, even if a Sunday game might mean a chance of radio coverage, it's whichever day gives my team the best chance of a win...if that's Saturday and means I can't listen online then so be it. Results before $$$ everytime...get the results and the $$$ will follow...but that's just my opinion.

Keep it on Saturday! That way I can enjoy my Father's Day watching the Cats wipe the smile off the Saint's faces!

Altough 40 mins ago I was saying move it to Sunday, so I can watch the Cats wipe the smile off the Cow's faces!
