Awesome effort bays, especially considering it was at Alberton and the form the 2 sides were in lately you would have thought that the score would have been closer. Are we back to our winning streak form? The results this round certainly make for an interesting last round.

It's been 15 years since Glenelg won at Alberton. Glenelg's coach was Power coach Mark Williams.

Norwood guaranteed finals now???
Roger Woodcock -- 602 goals from a forward flank makes you a legend.

Almost Roger,

unless Norwood lose to Glenelg
AND
Port v Eagles game is a draw.

Then there would be a three way tie on 19 and Norwood would drop out on percentage.

Pecentage won't be the issue. If the Eagles win next week they're in. Even if they draw, they will be in. So it's a mini final next week.

it was a great game as both sides tried to 'outmuscle' each other in a physical contest which did lead to turnovers by both teams & the swirling breeze didn't help the kicking either, finally port cracked & fell like a pack of cards about half through the premiership quarter & glenelg ran away with an easy win

If Port make the finals they won't go far, today was a very ordinary effort after such a great performance last week.
North must of been very average last week for Port to win by what they did, today they played a side that were far superior in windy conditions both hand & foot, Glenelg had fwds that could mark the ball & kick truely, Glenelg after such an average month of footy played very good today & deserved the win.

the first half was tight, tough footy with the bays just holding sway at halftime. much the same up until the 10 minute mark of the third when we broke the shackles and kicked away with some great run through the middle to be 33 up at lemon time. the first goal within a minute of the last qtr put paid to any thoughts the pies had of getting back into it, ended up a procession in the last 15 minutes as port just gave up imho. we looked great in the 2nd half something back to where we were about 8 weeks ago, the pies are just making up the numbers. GO THE TIGES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
