Sensational effort by the lads today. The youngsters were most impressive. Well done and now for one more minor round win. Again we will be the underdogs against ethelton.

No you won't ... I think most people respect and rate the Eagles, I know I do.

I didn't actually think you guys were underdogs today, but I'm glad the bookies did, cold comfort :D

And all the teal bandwagon will be out in force, while all our supporters will probably be watching the Crows on TV.

LOL .. Umm congrats on ur win Mick but surely you're extracting the urine there?

I was having a dig at the ##### who taped off the seats so we would not stand in front of his ##### camera. So his DVD that I would not buy would not have me standing in it .
And I have restrained myself from calling him a so and so from a certain English speaking country in the northern part of the globe.

And before I get hammered for complaining why has it taken until the second to last game of the year for this twit to tape of a section of seating that people have paid to use !!!
Next year if he tapes of my seat I will just pull the tape off !!!

Plus i knew no one would be at the game

Probably micky was talking about seating in that stand, ala the South match when everyone was in the stand.

Yep CD told me if the weather was like the south game the tape would have been binned .And all the fans would have been sitting there .Next time he is taping I might just stand in front of his camera while he is filming

So if the PAM lose will the teal brigade and the black and white brigade have verbal fights like in years gone by  Dont tell me they dont as I have seen them with my own eyes and ears.

Nah Port will be favourites Eagles have struggled against PAM this year .

Soft effort considering what was on the line. The selection of Jesse Aish was not fair on him or the supporters. I guess we are still "alive" but just making up the numbers I'm afraid. I hope making the finals isn't enough to keep Benny Hill his job, he has failed miserably in the last 3 seasons.

While short for a ruckman, he is very versatile and athletic, and played the probably the best game he has played for us.

Eagles certainly got the better if the frees, but nearly all of them were because we were interested in playing footy and going in hard.

If we draw with Port, we still have a chance, because of our better % than the Legs.

Noticed Colville was appplauded off the ground by the players. Was this an indication it was his last game at Woodville?

As outclassed as the Norwood league side was, u think your Magoo's would have beaten them??

He could have been more insulting and said that North would have been competitive with Norwood today, I don't think anyone would stoop that low though!

Passador kicked 2 goals 5
Sachwarze kicked how many and went off to have a rest?Well he was giving Alex one of Norwoods (or sturts )special fans a heads up on who was an out, while riding the exercise bike .
Rimmington Cica Fiacchi Jolly all played well
Jackie did 1 or 2 good things .
Couch had one of his better games and kicked goals .
The younger Redden was good in ruck and up forward.
Travis lane was a good goal sneek

Yes I think so .

U19s score from Norwood

Norwood 1.1 6.1 7.1 9.4.58
Eagles 3.3 5.6 11.8 12.11.83

Definately top 2 maybe top, depending on what happened between Port and Glenelg at Glenelg.

I think the biggest reason for most of the frees whether they were right or not .Was the fact that the Eagles were first to the BALL on most occassions .Be in front and you get protected .
Many of the frees not paid were due to the fact that the umpire was on the wrong side of the play.
I missed the colville clapping had left the grandstand by then .
Robberts could be developed into a forward option like his dad.

Well done to the 19s, all three sides will be up against Port next week to decide who gets into the finals for the two senior teams, and top spot for the 19s.

Sorry then Mick, you just lost all credibility with me then in terms of footy knowledge ... Schawarze clearly had at least 3 opponents (that I saw) bamboozled (sometimes by ability sometimes by reputation IMHO) and dominated, but none of his opponents can earn a league game, yet you think your Magoo's can beat our league team .. C'mon mate, you gotta stop eating the fish outta West Lakes if they're having that much affect

And that also completes our 2nd grand slam against Norwood this year, as the corresponding Under 17s game earlier in the year we won 13.16 to 11.11. Interesting to note, the other time the 4 grades winning, was also against Norwood. Norwood won all four grades in the other block of encounters.

The 19s ladder is an interesting one, what I do know is:
Team......P W L D F A % Pts
Eagles....19 14 5 0 1981 1620 55.01 28
Glenelg...19 13 6 0 - on percentage
Port.......19 13 6 0
Sturt......18 12 6 0 - but likely to have won, given their game was against South and could possibly have 3rd spot
Norwood..19 11 8 0 1834 1564 53.97 22
