BUDDY + FIGVOLA Game of the 'century'

Postby mal » Sun Aug 24, 2008 7:52 pm

What a last round
Who wrote the script
CA V HW

Sir LANCELOTOFGOALS FRANKLIN 98 goals
FIGVOLA 92 goals

Can the 2 greats score thier tons in the same game ?
It would be amazing if they both did it in the last qtr.

There are a couple of threads about Buddy nearing the ton

I dedicate this one to FIGVOLA
Dead set shame if CA get beaten and he ends up a few short of the ton

Lets hope its a wondeful game game of enterprising attacking footy and FIGVOLA can get the8 needed
And hopefully the game of the 'century'

Carlton's season is over with the Saints winning...

Dare say the Boys will be aiming for Fev every chance for his 8...

He can do it...Buddy in the first half & Fev in the second....

Buddy to score 2 in the first few minutes of the first quarter and Fev to finish the year on 99 is my guess

You disagree SJABC? Fevola is the most selfish player going around.

Buddy will probably get his 100 but fev might struggle. Buddy had his chances agains the eagles kicking 4.5. In my opinion the sooner the buddy gets his 100 goals the better for the hawks. There becoming very buddy consious. This aint going to help them in the coming weeks. Better get it done with so you can start to fix the game plan. And by fix it I mean bring Roughead back into play.
Anyway he should be able to get 2 goals even if its 2.10 ;)

buddy should have, or at least could have had his 100 weeks ago. but give him time, the accuracy will come. and when it does, lets hope he's still getting his 12 or so shots on goal every week.

fev will struggle to get to 8. my guess is 4, maybe 5 at very most.

So do I.
He is no different to Medhurst, Milne, Burton or Pavlich. Paid to kick goals & none of them pass the ball off.
Their teams and fans are happy with them so why criticise ?
Any team would want someone who can kick 80 - 100 goals a season.

I said selfish,I didnt say it was a bad thing to be as a forward,Franklin is too.I was leaning more towards the stupid free kicks/50m penalties he gives away.

I don't watch it much but I can just imagine the self gratification that will be going on, on the Footy Show tonight, the 1st 3/4 will be about Buddy and Fev, then they will get the rest of the games out in a rushed 10mins with Crows v Bullies and Swans v Bris being the last 2, Power v Nth Melb being a close 3rd to last. If it was a non Vic club whose player was going to kick a ton there'd be feigned interest.

Well dont watch it! 62.5% of AFL teams are from Melbourne, plus the show comes out of Melbourne, therefore they cater for the Vic teams accordingly. FFS it aint rocket science.

Would have been like bitching to KG and Cornesy that they dont talk enough about Essendon or St Kilda, or bitching to the Crows show that they didnt talk more North Melbourne (Gees I wish they showed more Nikki Visser though :) )
